Thialf and EW Facility Services are perfect counterparts. The ice rink, a well-known venue for international skating events with thousands of skating fans on the sidelines, is a client where our flexible management based on visitor numbers and the use of the areas is shown to its full advantage. Catering for extreme peaks in the seasonally sensitive Thialf is “core business” for us in Heerenveen. Other activities are held at the Thialf outside the skating season including fairs, congresses and concerts. Our occupancy-based invoicing method produces a maximum variable cost pattern, subject to the activities in the stadium. This is another example of us being a perfect counterpart for a client like Thialf.
It is logical that the services we provide for Thialf demand sound coordination of our activities, a flexible approach and an active constructive approach to events. We can safely say that we have made this a success.
