No everyday cleaning
Besides the regular cleaning, knowledge and experience of the maintenance of special materials was also a firm requirement. The building and its interior were designed by Erick van Egeraat, and a conscious decision was made to use natural materials. These are no everyday materials, and De Brauw specified to their supplier that their maintenance could be carried out with no visible traces of wear. As could be expected of EW Facility Services, they proposed a bespoke solution.

Maximum control of the cleaning
EW Facility Services launched its multi-service provision concept in September 2009, with an effort-oriented approach to cleaning. With over 23,000 m2 of floor space to be maintained, the choice was made for both regular and special maintenance, service employees (who carry out inspection rounds and can be flexibly deployed in special situations), waste paper collection, cleaning exterior walls, carpets and sanitary facilities, window cleaning and pest control. In short: all aspects of a clean and fresh office were placed in the trusted hands of EW Facility Services. By outsourcing all these services De Brauw retains maximum control with minimum management input, so they can focus on their core business. The contract was extended and broadened in 2014. The choice was made for results-oriented daytime cleaning, enabling both a flexible approach to intensively used areas and better communications.
