DT on the work floor embedded in our culture
Just like every year, the directors of EW Facility Services spent a day on the work floor. “As far as I’m concerned, DT could even be organised on the work floor more often,” says Jacqueline van Rossum, Regional Director at the facility services provider. “It gives me so much knowledge and insight. Cleaning with ozone water? It works so well. I’m om. But not only that, it also confirms to me every time what a fine and hardworking colleague we employ!”
DT on the work floor
EW Facility Services is a people company. A pleasant working environment in which its employees enjoy their work, are able to work well together and feel at home is important in this respect. Bas Cornelissen, Managing Director: "In order to realize this, it is important to stay in conversation with our colleagues throughout the year and to hear how our services translate into practice. What works and what doesn't? DT on the shop floor is one of the ways in which we do this and, after all these years, is anchored in our corporate culture. It creates connection, helps to identify areas for improvement and promotes job satisfaction".
Involvement
"I was allowed to work with our team at the European Medicine Agency. And what was so nice, they had invited me. Together we try to provide a clean and safe environment every day. By working on this day ourselves and being in contact with the end users, it is once again confirmed how important our work is. Suzanne and team: thank you for your guidance, enthusiasm, dedication and commitment to our organization, but also to the client'.
HR Director Maaike Ligtenstein received an invitation from the team at the Kruisherenhotel in Maastricht and headed to Limburg: "I'm so glad the team invited me. When I look back on this day, 'together' is characteristic of them. They are proud of each other and the location, involved in the hotel and extremely hospitable. For example, one of our colleagues offered the security guard of a Tefaf work of art a croissant after his night shift. How beautiful, that exudes real hospitality." Chris van Galen, Financial Director also experienced the commitment of our colleagues to their clients: "What enthusiasm and passion for their work, EW Facility Services and Thialf I have seen in the team of Thialf. I am proud that I was able to be a part of this for one day".
Collegiality and cooperation
Key Account Director Albert van Schooneveld joined the Rabobank Fellenoord team in Eindhoven: "What struck me in particular was the collegiality of the team. Taking over each other's tasks and helping each other out when one is ready and the other is not yet, is a matter of course for them. A close-knit team that feels responsible for their task and that goes for quality. We worked hard, but we also laughed a lot. Thank you colleagues for your openness and coaching".
