Het Nationale Theater opts for multi-service approach EW Facility Services
Over 680 performances per year. Weekly more than 4200 visitors and employees across the floor. No less than seven locations in The Hague, including the monumental Royal Theatre, the Theater aan het Spui, its own decor studio and accommodation studios. Het Nationale Theater is quite dynamic and diverse. The task of EW Facility Services is to provide cleaning services, glass cleaning, supply of sanitary facilities, waste collection and processing and specialist cleaning for all locations from 1 January 2020. Consultancy firm Atir supported Het Nationale Theater in going through the European tendering procedure, with EW Facility Services coming out on top.
Unburdening by one professional party
Susanne Bothe, Senior Advisor at Atir, supervised the project: "Het Nationale Theater was created in 2017 as a result of a merger. However, they still had separate agreements with different providers and durations for the various facility services at the locations. The wish was to place the services with a single professional service provider, with a focus on partnership, guest orientation, transparency and flexibility". Expertise and hospitality are decisive
