Het Scheepvaartmuseum and EW Facility Services continue cooperation
Since 2013 EW Facility Services is responsible for the cleaning of the monumental building of Het Scheepvaartmuseum. The collaboration between EW Facility Services and Het Scheepvaartmuseum has grown over the past 5 years into a strategic partnership. After the tender, EW Facility Services was given the confidence to continue this successful partnership in the coming years.
Distinctive factors
Flexibility, sustainability, hospitality and on-site management were important pillars of the tender process. Armand Luitwieler, Operational Manager SMC Group and manager of the agreement: "EW Facility Services has been able to distinguish itself on all levels from a clear vision in which customer experience is central. Marieke Dijkstra, Head of the Housekeeping Department of Het Scheepvaartmuseum, adds to this: "The building is special and has multiple uses, such as presentation rooms, public facilities, depots, offices and event rooms. EW Facility Services has demonstrated its ability to respond to our needs and, where necessary, to respond quickly." Something that the facility service provider is proud of. Sustainability programme
Het Scheepvaartmuseum is very active in the field of sustainability and works according to BREEAM in Use. Marieke Dijkstra: "With our ambitious sustainability programme, our aim is to become an eco-positive museum." Rutger Verstegen, Salesmanager EW Facility Services: "We are happy to contribute to this. For example, we clean with ozone water, we set high sustainability standards for our suppliers and we proactively focus on sustainable innovations. In order to make the pursuit of 'sustainable growth together' visible, we symbolically handed over 8 trees via Treesforall at the signing."
