Hotel Okura Amsterdam and EW Facility Services extend their partnership by 5 years
Since 1999 we have been able to challenge each other to continuously grow and learn from each other.
On Wednesday 3 July Hotel Okura Amsterdam and EW Facility Services once again joined forces and signed a contract extension of no less than five years. At this international five-star hotel, the activities of facility service provider EW Facility Services include cleaning maintenance of the hotel rooms and common areas, as well as turndown service and linen logistics.
Unrivalled guest experience
This prestigious hotel with Japanese influences exudes hospitality and requires a 'disproportionate guest experience' as a minimum. With her membership of The Leading Hotels of the World, a company to which only four Dutch hotels are entitled, she has exceptionally high standards. These standards have been met by EW Facility Services for 20 years. The facility service provider is proud that the experience at this unique hotel has played an essential role in its development into an expert in the field of guest experience and market leader in hotel cleaning.
Team
Key Account Director of EW Facility Services, Patrick van Meeuwen, is very pleased with the continuation of this longstanding cooperation. "Since 1999 we have been working together to create the ultimate guest experience and we have always been able to challenge each other to continuously grow and learn from each other. The team on location plays an essential role in this. Thanks to their unbridled enthusiasm, learning curve and ability to identify, we have been able to continuously meet the quality requirements of Hotel Okura Amsterdam and grow together into a partnership of which we are particularly proud".
Signing together
The fact that the strength of the service lies in the people was clearly demonstrated during the signing of the contract. Where conventionally this is a matter for managers, Hotel Okura Amsterdam and EW Facility Services opted for the quirky approach of inviting the entire Housekeeping team. With a large contract in A3 format, space was made available for all employees to sign. A nice way to visibly and tactfully involve them in the happy moment, as a token of appreciation from both organizations.
