Making one and a half meters in museums and the new normal

The museums reopened on 1 June. Very nice! But what does a museum visit look like now? And what role does cleaning play in this? Our colleague Kimberley Roersma and Kirsten van der Vaart MSc van Asito talked to Marieke Dijkstra (Het Scheepvaartmuseum) and Diana Hoven (Amsterdam Museum) for their blog ‘Making one and a half meters’. They talked about the corona lockdown with extreme silence, the reopening with new courses and challenges, and the role of cleaning. One thing we all realize: What was always ordinary, is – and maybe will be – no longer ordinary.
