Snowworld and EW Facility Services work together in a sustainable way

When Snowworld Landgraaf started looking for a new cleaning partner in the middle of this year, one of the requirements was to find a partner that offers more than just cleaning. Thinking along with Snowworld Landgraaf immediately came to light in the area of sustainability during the tender process. Snowworld's goal is to reduce the use of plastic and even ultimately to eliminate it altogether. EW Facility Services therefore opted for the ozone technology Lotus® PRO for cleaning maintenance. A sustainable and innovative cleaning concept with which we say goodbye to all daily cleaning chemicals.
The innovation
The Lotus® PRO cleaning concept is a system that simply and safely converts cold tap water into ozone water. What is unique is the fact that the ozone water retains its hygienic effect for no less than 24 hours, thus replacing traditional, daily cleaning products. The system is a response to the millions of litres of cleaning chemicals and polluted water that disappear into the sewer every year. In addition, the use of plastic bottles containing traditional detergents is reduced to a minimum. An extra boost on quality, efficiency and the fact that employees of EW Facility Services no longer need to come into contact with cleaning chemicals, make this cleaning concept a success.
First experiences
The first experiences with the Lotus® PRO cleaning concept at Snowworld Landgraaf are good. Daniëlle van Herten, Rayon Manager EW Facility Services: "Of course it always takes some getting used to, especially because there is no smell or colour on it. But our colleagues are very positive about the use of ozone water and don't want to do anything else. It cleans without streaks and is also safe to use." Snowworld Landgraaf also sees and experiences the advantages.
