EW Facility Services connects innovation, sustainability and social responsibility at Hotel CSmart

At Hotel CSmart in Almere, EW Facility Services is responsible for cleaning the hotel rooms. With the use of its services, the organization not only contributes to the overall experience of the hotel, but innovation, sustainability and social responsibility are also connected.

Sustainability and innovation through the use of ozone water
For the cleaning of the Hotel CSmart, EW Facility Services uses the Lotus® PRO cleaning concept, which transforms ordinary tap water, simply, quickly and safely into stabilized ozone water. In the Netherlands, EW Facility Services is the only service provider that uses this technology. Stabilized ozone water replaces all daily cleaning chemicals and is more powerful, safer and 100% environmentally friendly. In addition, the use of ozone water is efficient because cleaners do not need to select different products.

Corporate social responsibility
Next to sustainability, Hotel CSmart and EW Facility Services also agree in the area of corporate social responsibility. Cleaning staff who are following a work-study programme are employed at the hotel. Within a year working at the hotel, they can earn their MBO Diploma for Cleaning Worker. Candidates who have difficulty entering the labour market thus get a new start in the facilities industry.
