EW Facility Services strengthens position in hotel cleaning by taking over Hendriks Hoteldiensten and Hotel Cleaning Company
EW Facility Services, Hendriks Hoteldiensten and Hotel Cleaning Company announce today that EW Facility Services has taken over the activities of Hendriks Hotel Services and Hotel Cleaning Company. The connection stems from the wish of Eric van Kroonenburg, director of Hendriks Hoteldiensten, to focus on other activities where there was no follow-up within his organisation, and the wish of Frans de Beer, director of Hotel Cleaning Company, to further develop himself within the hotel segment. They therefore sought to join a strategic party that could increase its market share by acquiring the two companies.
Hendriks Hoteldiensten and Hotel Cleaning Company are cleaning organisations, which have been founded and further developed in the hotel segment. Over the past 12 years, the companies have grown into stable and profitable companies. Together, the organisations have a turnover of € 24 million and employ 1,350 people.
“Hotel Cleaning Company has grown enormously in recent years, both financially and organisationally. Joining EW Facility Services helps us to continue this growth. This allows us to maintain the personal approach that we strive for and that clients are used to from us, creating enormous opportunities at the back in the field of innovation and deployment of ICT while being supported by a strong back office", says Frans de Beer.
Both Hotel Cleaning Company and Hendriks Hoteldiensten join EW Facility Services while retaining their current name. All employees involved will keep their current contract with all previous agreements. For them, the terms of employment remain unchanged.
Eric van Kroonenburg: “After a thorough transfer I will leave the company, but otherwise, Hendriks Hoteldiensten will be transferred as entire organisation. That was an absolute condition for me. This connection fulfils the ambition of our operational director Yvonne Ingels to further develop herself with our organisation within the hotel segment. There will be no changes in daily practice for employees, but for those who want there there will opportunities for further growth and personal development. I am very happy with that.”

With the increase in market share in hotel cleaning due to the connection of hotel specialists Hotel Cleaning Company and Hendriks Hoteldiensten, the facility services provider expresses its ambition to expand its market share in the offices, high traffic and care segment in a proportional manner in order to maintain the powerful, even distribution of turnover between the segments.
