EW Service Awards handed out
Who will win the EW Service Awards? The past few months have been characterised by healthy tension at a number of locations. With a nomination for the EW Service Awards in their pocket and a visit from the jury, the waiting started for the results. And how nice it was to be able to surprise the winning locations live again this year. Operational Director Ralph Eradus went to Brabant and surprised team Udens Duyn. Key Account Director Albert van Schooneveld travelled to the Randstad and put the spotlight on team Rotterdam The Hague Airport. Both teams have shown great agility and commitment in the past year. Appropriately modest, but enormously proud, they accepted their trophy.
The winners
Choosing the winners was not easy for the jury. In the Hotels category, the cleaning team of Udens Duyn impressed. The past year was a tough one for them. Suddenly the care hotel became a corona hotel and ambulances were on their way. A smile and a tear, but always full of passion, they did their job. Without thinking, the team took on their new role. In doing so, they built up an extremely strong bond with the care personnel and the hotel staff. Together, they took their responsibilities, remained critical of the protocols, paid attention to each other's safety and ensured a hygienically clean location. Now that it is an 'ordinary' care hotel again, it only becomes clear what an exceptional job they have done.
In the categories Offices & Real Estate, Care, Education, Travel and Leisure, the Rotterdam The Hague Airport team was the winner. Why? Taking part, getting the job done together, quality and a solution-focused approach are what they demonstrate every day. They are proud of each other and their work, and they radiate that pride. Patricia Boogards Contract Manager RTHA shared in the joy and said: "I have really seen the people flourish under the new management of EW Facility Services, a world of difference as they now proudly walk over our airport. And that also translates to the quality that they display."
Showing appreciation
The EW Facility Services Service Award is an annual award in which the facility services provider searches for the best-performing teams within its organisation, in the categories Hotels and Offices - Real Estate, Care, Education, Leisure & Travel respectively. With the diversity of clients and teams, a nomination is truly something to be proud of. Not only is the team in their category one of the top three teams, they have also demonstrated excellence in their service delivery over the past year.
