Hotel MERICI and EW Facility Services place guest experience centre stage
The old town centre of Sittard is the location of the beautiful four-star MERICI convent hotel. The hotel has chosen EW Facility Services as its new business partner for room cleaning, general services, linen logistics and management.
Feeling at home
The name MERICI originates from 'Angela de Merici', founder of the Ursuline Order, the convent order that provided education for girls between 1843 and 1946 in the hotel's neighbouring buildings. The hotel currently offers 48 hotel rooms, which will soon be expanded to 93 hotel rooms. Other facilities include meeting rooms, a restaurant, bar/lounge and an intimate terrace. At hotel MERICI, contemporary luxury and the obviously present history go hand in hand. And that is something you can feel and taste. Managing Director Jan-Paul Hameleers: "Our hotel has a completely unique appearance and we aim to make the guest feel at home. Providing the ultimate guest experience is paramount and good cleaning quality must contribute to this, because it is all done for the guest. For this reason, it has been decided to entrust the facility services to EW Facility Services."
