“Partnership means more than just good cleaning”

EW Facility Services has provided the cleaning maintenance at the Topaz Revitel Rehabilitation Hotel in Leiden since September 2014. After over two years, the two parties are looking back and looking forward, and celebrating the success of their partnership. “For Revitel we’re not only a cleaning services provider, but a facilities partner that forms an integral part of the organisation.”

At the start of a new year, Topaz Revitel and EW Facility Services are taking time out to celebrate their partnership. Joined by Lia de Jongh, chairperson of the Topaz management board, the parties toast the successes they have achieved, and look to the future. Bas Haagen, Marketing and Sales Director at EW Facility Services, says: “At Topaz Revitel we can give concrete form to our vision of service provision, in which flexibility is key. We can see that our model based on a price per occupied room, which in this case includes room cleaning, management, general services, window cleaning and linen logistics, leads to optimal flexibility in service and in costs.” Alice Abrahamse, Interim Operations Manager at Topaz Revitel, adds: “EW Facility Services was the only party in the tendering process for cleaning maintenance that truly understood our needs and was prepared to offer the flexibility we need as a rehabilitation hotel. We can now see this “click” reflected in our collaboration, which can rightly be called a partnership.”

 

Looking to the future

Topaz Revitel and EW Facility Services have now been working in partnership for over two years. The services have recently been expanded with ancillary services such as waste processing and managing Revitel’s stocks and storage. “We’re currently examining whether there are opportunities to further extend our partnership. With the deployment of a caretaker, for example, EW Facility Services could make life even easier for Topaz Revitel in the future.”
