Via Hostels chooses EW Facility Services as partner
With the arrival of Via Hostels to the Netherlands, Amsterdam is able to offer a new, hip overnight place, in particular for the young traveller. Via Hostels already has two locations in London and has now made the crossing to the European mainland. As a facilities partner, EW Facility Services is responsible for room cleaning as well as the management, linen logistics and sanitation supplies.
Convenience and comfort
The new Amsterdam hostel has an Urban nineties style and combines the feel of a hostel with the service of a hotel. No bathrooms in the hallway. Every room, both the shared and private rooms, offers a luxurious bathroom. Combined with fast Wi-Fi, uniquely decorated common spaces and the cinema room, the location in Amsterdam distinguishes itself in terms of ease and comfort.
Reliable and flexible
For the new location in Amsterdam, Via Hostels sought a reliable and experienced partner in the Netherlands. Rutger Verstegen, Sales Manager EW Facility Services: "The first phase in a start-up of a new location is often accompanied by highly varying occupancy levels. By providing flexible solutions, including the Pay Per Room for sanitary supplies, EW Facility Services can fully adapt during the start-up phase at minimal fixed costs. "Thijs Sluiter, Area Manager EW Facility Services adds:" In addition, we know from our experience with other hostels exactly how to respond to the expectations of the guest and the peak moments in the operation. By starting with digital room lists for our colleagues, we can plan even more efficiently and have better communication with the front office team. "
Experience
Via Amsterdam General Manager William van den Berg, knows the organisation of old. Van den Berg: "Through my good experiences with EW Facility Services in the past, I am happy that we are working together again on this new project. EW Facility Services has been very flexible in the run-up to our opening and I am convinced that we will be successful again together."
