Buurtzorgpension and EW Facility Services extend cooperation
During the first corona wave in March 2020, EW Facility Services temporarily supported the Buurtzorgpension in Zoetermeer with its cleaning services. This pleased both parties so well that they decided to enter into structural cooperation on 1 November of that year. They are now expanding this collaboration by adding a second location. On 1 April this year, the facility services provider will start at Buurtzorgpension Spijkenisse. Important spearheads within the cooperation are the ability to take care of everyone, high quality cleaning and sincere attention for the clients of the Buurtzorgpension.
Creating Hospitality: offering a listening ear
Buurtzorgpension aims to create a hospitable environment with a friendly atmosphere where clients feel at home. There is an eye for privacy, the rooms are pleasantly furnished and personal service and comfort are central. Sincere attention is therefore also an important element of the service provided by Buurtzorgpension's partners. In addition to attention to the quality of cleaning, it is also important to pay attention to the team on site and to the clients and visitors of Buurtzorgpension. For this reason, EW Facility Services has, for example, appointed an assistant manager to supervise and coach the cleaning staff in these aspects. A cleaning employee who listens to whoever needs it at the time is another good example of attention in practice. For the cleaning team, the bond they develop with the guests at Buurtzorgpension is a rewarding addition to their work.
Benefits of one cleaning partner for several locations
Expanding the cooperation offers many advantages, both for EW Facility Services and for both Buurtzorgpensions. The advantages of a partner for multiple locations include a single point of contact for coordinating (contractual) matters, a uniform appearance and method of working for the cleaning services, and the same quality of cleaning everywhere with an eye to sustainability.
Neighbourhood care pension offers a helping hand to COVID patients
The Buurtzorgpensions are there for temporary nursing and care. They offer care to people who, for example, are not yet able to live independently at home after an operation. However, in order to face the coronary crisis together last year, Buurtzorgpension also lent a helping hand by temporarily setting up several locations as COVID reception locations. This happened, for example, at the Zierikzee and Zoetermeer locations. For an extra helping hand in cleaning, they used the services of EW Facility Services. For the cleaning staff, this was quite exciting, but they soon knew how to find their niche. The fact that Buurtzorgpension has now also opted for structural cooperation with EW Facility Services for its Spijkenisse location is a nice compliment for the employees of the facility services provider. Their work is clearly appreciated.
