EW Facility Services deploys multi-service services for Equipe Zorgbedrijven
On 1 December, EW Facility Services will begin its services at twelve locations of Equipe Zorgbedrijven. Equipe Zorgbedrijven consists of the three labels Velthuis Clinic, Xpert Clinic and Helder Clinic; the locations can be found throughout the Netherlands. EW Facility Services is responsible for routine cleaning at all locations, including cleaning of ORs and PORs. The company also handles window cleaning and sanitary supplies at various locations.
Award criteria
An important factor for the award is the distinctiveness of the facility service provider on hospitality and experience. EW Facility Services' view of the flexibilization of costs, so that facility costs run parallel to the occupancy and turnover of the care provider, also played an important role. To further realize this, EW Facility Services has the goal of working together with Equipe Zorgbedrijven towards a price per patient, so that that the facility costs are completely transparent. They are doing this from the ideas of Value-Based Healthcare. 'Care can always be smarter, better and friendlier. That is our mission', says Jaco Donselaar, Operational Director of Equipe Zorgbedrijven. 'We try to further realize this mission in every facet of our service delivery and with all the parties with whom we collaborate. Routine cleaning is an important basic process. With EW Facility Services, next to a step forward in quality, we also want to take a step in the area of flexibilization.'

Infection prevention and control are an express part of the routine cleaning approach of EW Facility Services. The company achieves this through its High-Quality Hygiene approach, which includes a Hygiene scan, a customized Hygiene plan and professional Outbreak Management. Of course, the company also conducts periodic evaluations so that the processes, protocols and innovations in the area of infection prevention and control are continuously optimized.
