Kinepolis also opts for EW Facility Services for new location in Leidschendam
In October 2020, EW Facility Services premiered its services at Kinepolis Haarlem. Anticipating changing occupancies without losing quality was the basis for this. After a successful start, the cinema unfortunately had to close its doors again after two months and the cooperation took on another dimension. It is precisely this flexibility, the ability to respond to developments in the market and the open communication between both organisations, that made Kinepolis choose EW Facility Services as its cleaning partner for its new location in the ‘Mall Of The Netherlands’ in Leidschendam.
Tailor-made cleaning
The current corona situation with its government measures reinforces the need for a clear vision on manoeuvrability. After all, a low level of occupancy or even closure results in a lower level of pollution. EW Facility Services distinguishes itself by maximum flexibility while maintaining quality. Rutger Verstegen, Sales Manager EW Facility Services: "We translate our experiences at Kinepolis Haarlem to Kinepolis Leidschendam. Because we communicate continuously at sales level, but certainly also at operational level, we are able to offer customised services here as well. We can move with occupancy rates, respond to extra hygiene measures, but also adapt to the current situation where the cinema is closed. When the cinemas reopen, we hope to further intensify our cooperation."

Under the leadership of area manager Judith Otten, EW Facility Services will be responsible for cleaning, seat cleaning, floor maintenance and window cleaning at Kinepolis Leidschendam. The organisation will also be responsible for cleaning the showrooms. Rutger: "Just like with Kinepolis Haarlem, this is a newly built location. For us, this is the ultimate opportunity to shape our vision on cleaning linked to hospitality right from the start. Together with Kinepolis, we aim for an extremely positive cinema experience for visitors. In other words, 'the ultimate movie experience'."
