Winner EW Service Award category Offices, High Traffic and Care also announced

Following the announcement of the winner of the EW Service Award in the Hotels category, the jury surprised the team at Holland Casino Amsterdam Centrum. This year they won the EW Service Award in the category Offices, High Traffic and Care. A big surprise as they say. “We have a lot of faith in how we work together as a team and the quality we deliver, but we also knew that we had strong competition. We are very happy with this award. We see it as the crowning glory of our work,” says Objectleiders Milou and Anna.

Flexibility 24 hours a day

Holland Casino is the ultimate form of a typical High Traffic location. Albert van Schooneveld, Key Account Director EW Facility Services: "At Holland Casino a lot of guests come to visit and when it comes to hectics it is for example not comparable to a regular office location. This demands a lot from the flexibility of the team. The team at Holland Casino Amsterdam Centrum is present 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and consists not only of cleaning staff but also of cloakroom staff, rinse kitchen staff and service staff. Add to this the different nationalities and you will understand the diversity in the composition of the team. The great thing is that it works. The colleagues have really merged into one team. They know what is expected of them, move with the changing crowds, deliver quality, communicate well with our client and each other, they also replace each other in case of absence. In short, they do everything together to achieve a top performance every day. Something to be proud of."

Jasper Binnekade, Facility Manager Holland Casino Amsterdam CentrumĀ agrees: "I really appreciate the efforts of the team. Like no other I know what it takes to get everything in perfect order in our casino every day. A good and pleasant mutual communication and cooperation is crucial in this, something we have on a daily basis."

EW Service Awards

The EW Service Awards are an annual award in which we look for the best performing teams within our organisation. We distinguish two categories: Offices, High Traffic & Care and Hotels. For each category, three teams are nominated for the EW Service Award, after which a final winner is announced. Important criteria within the award are cooperation, involvement, quality and the contribution of the team to the experience of the (end) users. With a great diversity of clients and teams, a nomination is something to be proud of. Over the past year, the nominated teams have shown that they excel in their service provision and as a team. We created the award to be critical of our own services; but equally important is the aim of this award to show appreciation for the dedication and enthusiasm of our colleagues.
